Testimonials The testimonials below reflect some of the people who have chosen to write to us about Mainframe and our products. These are candid comments. They express both satisfaction and sometimes dissatisfaction, and that's a good thing. For Mainframe Associates is a business management software developer, and we need honest, direct responses in order to get better.
"Dear [Mainframe Associates], The Retail Controller has exceeded our expectations in both performance and acceptance by employees, enabling us to expand our business without the need to increase our staff. In addition, our understanding of our business and the critical factors affecting it has been enhanced. We would like to expand on the performance of the software and your client support services. The software has proven to be very consistent in its design, allowing our staff to adapt to different modules quickly. On-screen prompts are useful and this encourages the new user to work through the screens step-by-step in both POS and administrative functions. By far the most often used feature is the number of different 'search' routines which allow our staff to make educated guesses to locate such things as product codes either by scrolling through products numbers and/or by using a product description lookup. New staff training has been accomplished in house by our present staff who are all capable of demonstrating these features and by encouraging the new staff member to 'try for themselves'. The uncluttered selling screen has also proven to be a major factor in allowing our new staff to be on-line after only one hour of training. Mainframe's support for our system has been outstanding. Our only equipment problem involved one of our printers. It was solved by one of Mainframe's technical experts. He wsa on-site and had the printer running that same evening. Whenever we have had a problem that we could not solve ourselves, they have always been quick to respond. Keep up the good work!
