At Mainframe Associates, we have been developing business automation solutions since 1983, and have more experience in the field than any other company in Western Canada. Our core suite of software, the Controller Series™, is in use by small and midsize companies that span the continent from Alaska to Georgia. The Controller Series™ is also in use by industry leaders such as Canada's Federated Coop.

We have a revolutionary approach to customization that allows any of our customers to dictate major or minor changes in the software as needed, without forcing those changes on other customers. We could be considered your private technology team ­ but with far more experience and less cost.

Doing Business with Us

As a prospective or new customer, you have at your disposal a team of our experts to help you get efficient answers. Once you have completed your Needs Identification Profile, we invite you to begin discussions with us. If you have a question about functionality, accounting, hardware, custom enhancements or customer service, please feel free to call a representative at 1-888-616-9912.  He or she will commit time from the appropriate person as required.

At any time during the process, we may exclude ourselves early if we feel that we cannot meet your requirements within your budget or because we have determined that we cannot justify our time investment. Under some circumstances, we are happy to bill for our consulting services after this point if you would like to continue working with us. We can also assist with the preparation of a Request for Proposal (RFP) that you can use to communicate with other vendors. The preparation of RFP's is one of our standard services; we exclude ourselves from the bidding to ensure the integrity of the document.

Typically, we will aid your selection process with the following consecutive steps:

1. Needs Identification - using the Profile provided
2. Live Internet Software Demo - about one hour, must be booked
3. Access to Key People - to address all your core needs
4. Custom Software Design and Process Consulting - if required
5. Proposal to Supply
6. Comparison with Alternatives
